About Me
Dharma-Leela |
In 2010 I packed up my very little life and narrow mind to embark on an open-ended sabbatical. I set off with the grandest intention of meeting “The” holiest of holy men who were going to show me the way to my healing and enlightenment..
I prostrated myself at the feet of the Buddha, alongside monks and adepts, in Wats across South East Asia where the silence within awoke.. then the silence without and within enveloped me in a 21 day silent sitting Vipassana in Wat Chom Tong, Thailand.. showing me the cavortings of my own manic mind. I travelled India on the back of a motorbike and hung out with Sadhus on the beach of the Ganges. Fires that had burned for one thousand years lit the temples, and felt otherworldly next to internet café’s and the busy-ness of life Two friends and I floated a raft we built, made of trees and vine, downriver in the Amazon, for over a month. The jungle was a wall of wild green, brilliantly coloured toucans flew overhead and pink dolphins accompanied me as I washed my hair in the mornings.. We stopped at villages to meet with Shamans and partake of village life, communing with sacred plant medicines and animals. Then during six months in London, a totally urban immersion, I indulged in the conscious Kink scene with London Faerie & the Sacred Pleasures community.. blending cacao, process work and conscious kink 101. Settled back in South Africa, I am now furthering my studies in Tantric Touchwork as well as training as an Integral Coach. I am loving life, immersed in the spiritual community in Cape Town and my sacred cacao work. |
